Karen Klenberg Scholarship Fund
Support for non-traditional graduate students, particularly those students pursuing careers later in life; awardee must also demonstrate excellent clinical and interpersonal skills characterized by warmth and integrity.
This endowment was established in 2006 by family and friends in memory of Karen L. Klenberg. Karen was born March 9, 1957 in Atlanta, GA. She earned a master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders, majoring in speech pathology from the University of Florida in 2004. She worked at the Brain Rehabilitation Research Center as a research speech language pathologist.
Karen had two daughters, Danielle and Melissa Stein. She passed away April 26, 2005 at the age of 48.
