This fund was established by Dairell J. “D.J.” Snapp III in 2006 for the purpose of supporting graduate student research assistantships in real estate, but may also be used to support other research-related activities such as data acquisition, travel, computer enhancements and other expenses.
Dairell earned his bachelor’s degree in economics in 1976 and master’s degree in real estate and urban analysis in 1978 from the University of Florida. While at UF, he became a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and Florida Blue Key. He is the owner of Dairell J. Snapp Realty in North Palm Beach, FL. He is married to Mrs. Laurene A. Snapp and has two children: Hilary A. and Dairell Johnson Snapp.
