Ron and Vicki Canakaris Finance Endowment Fund

This fund was established by Ronald and Vicki Canakaris in 2006 for the purpose of supporting education and research for students and faculty by making possible the purchase of independent equity investment research data in the Finance, Insurance and Real Estate Department in the Warrington College of Business.

Ron was born on May 22, 1944. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida in 1966. While at UF, Ron became a member of Phi Delta Theta and played defensive middle guard for Gators football in the early 1960s. He later became chairman and CIO of Atlanta-based growth equity shop Montag and Caldwell Inc. Ron and his wife, Vicki, have a dog named Wall Street.
