Brian M. O’Connell Estates and Trusts Book Award Endowment
GA: support the College of Law at the Dean's discretion to sponsor a Book Award in Estates and Trusts.
This fund was established by Brian M. O’Connell in 2005 to support the Levin College of Law. O’Connell earned a master’s degree in taxation in 1980 and a juris doctor in 1979, both from the University of Florida.
Mr. O’Connell received his bachelor’s degree in government from Florida State University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and earned his law degree with honors from the University of Florida, where he also earned a Master of Law in taxation, ranking first in his class. He is an avid competitive swimmer who regularly competes at the national level.
