Richard P. Donnellan Real Estate Graduate Scholarship

Richard P. Donnellan, Jr. and Cathy G. Donnellan established this fund in 2006 in the name of his father. Richard received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida in 1978. He is a principal in the Apartment Realty Advisors (ARA) southeastern region and has maintained a leadership position in the sale and finance of investment properties throughout the state of Florida.

Before ARA, Richard was at Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate as a leading investment sales specialist. He co-founded a South Florida-based investment sales company and was president there for ten years prior to forming the Florida location of ARA. He is a co-founder of ARA National which has 18 offices around the country. Richard also serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the UF Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies.

Cathy earned her bachelor’s degree in 1980 from the UF’s College of Pharmac
