Barry J. Haft Endowed Research Fund for Pancreatic Cancer
This fund was established by Robert J. Haft in memory of his son, Barry J. Haft, in 2006 for the purpose of supporting pancreatic cancer research.
Barry J. Haft earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida in 1978. After graduating from Georgetown University Law Center in 1982, he married Mary Thornhill in 1983. In 1996, he co-authored a book.
Haft passed away on Sunday, March 15, 1998 of pancreatic cancer. He was 40. He and Mary have a son, Jacob, and a daughter, Jaclyn.
