Charles Perry
This fund was established by Charles R. and Nancy Perry in 2005 for the purpose of supporting teaching and programs in “building crafts.”
Nancy was born April 25, 1945. Nancy is a Bull Gator, and has served on both the University of Florida Foundation board of directors and Florida Museum of Natural History board of directors. Nancy attended Central Michigan University, the University of Michigan, and Michigan State University. She has been the Alachua General Hospital Pediatric Tea and Tour Co-host, on Gainesville Magazine’s Advisory Board and a March of Dimes Contributor. Nancy was a Girl Scouts of Gateway Council Women Who Make A Difference Honoree in 2006. She is an Alumni Association Life individual member since 1993 and has been on the Vet Med Campaign Council since 2007. Perry was the Florida Museum of Natural History Associates Board President from 1999-2001 and has been on the Bequest Society Honor Roll. She has also been involved with the American Cancer Society, the Mercantile Bank Board, the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, a member of the FMNH Campaign Steering Committee, and UF Foundation Board of Directors ex officio member 1999 to 2001.
