Michael Aschoff

Michael Aschoff graduated from UF with honors with a bachelor’s degree in art with a concentration in art history; he was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He received his MBA in finance in 1984 and an advanced professional certificate in computer applications and information systems in 1988, both from New York University.

Aschoff is currently retired from AXA Technology Services, headquartered in Paris, France, where he was the Global Operational Compliance Officer, based in the New Jersey office. He traveled to AXA Tech offices around the world before retiring to Tampa where he plans to write travel books and open an art gallery. He established the Michael Aschoff Dissertation Fellowship Award Fund to enable eligible graduate students to focus on their studies. While at UF, he received a federally-funded graduate fellowship that is no longer available and is pleased to be able to provide similar assistance to deserving students.

Aschoff believes strongly that individual donors are the key to survival for our educational, cultural, and humanitarian institutions. He encourages friends and family members to support the institutions of their choice with either time or funding to the best of their ability.
