This fund was established in 2005 by H. Anson and Lilla S. Moye in honor of their family for the purpose of supporting the George A. Smathers Libraries.
H. Anson Moye is a retired UF professor of food science and human nutrition. He earned his doctoral degree in chemistry at UF in 1965. He retired as a professor emeritus from UF’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) Department of Food Science and Nutrition. Lilla S. Moye retired from the University of Florida Foundation in 1982. She was an administrative assistant. The couple has a son, Shawn, who graduated from UF and received his bachelor’s degree in food and resource economics in 1990.
