Richard R. Streiff Endowed Research Fund
GA: support research on blood cancers in the Dept of Hematology/Oncology at the Cancer Center.
This fund was established by an anonymous donor in 2004 in honor of Richard R. Streiff for the purpose of supporting research on blood cancers in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Shands Cancer Center.
Streiff graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in 1951 and earned his medical degree from the University of Basel in Switzerland in 1959. He spent his medical career at UF.
Streiff is a retired UF hematology professor emeritus. He is married to Jenny K. Streiff, and has a child, Gabrielle.
