Colonel Allen R. and Margaret G. Crow Term Professorship in Liberal Arts and Sciences
GA (amended): support term professorships in Liberal Arts & Sciences. The income of this fund will be to recognize professors in the College who have demonstrated outstanding teaching or research skills.
This fund was established by Colonel Allen R. Crow. Crow was born in 1911 in Potsdam, NY. He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Florida in 1933. He served as a U.S. Air Force Medical Service Corps officer and achieved the rank of colonel. Colonel Crow was an Army Air veteran of World War II and Air Force veteran of the Korean War. His late wife, Margaret G. “Brownie” Crow was born in 1912 and passed away in November 1986 at age 74. Colonel Crow passed away in August 2000 at age 8
