Born in 1911 in Potsdam, NY, Colonel Allen R. Crow established this scholarship through his estate. After earning his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from UF in 1933, he served as a U.S. Air Force Medical Service Corps officer, ultimately achieving the rank of colonel. Colonel Crow was an Army Air veteran of World War II and Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He passed away in August 2000 at age 88. The Colonel’s wife, Margaret G. “Brownie” Crow, was born in 1912 and passed away in November 1996 at age 7
