Robert L. Anderson and Glenn Anderson Visiting Lectureship and Travel Fellowship

Fund Purpose
GA (amended): 50% of income to support lectureship to bring national leaders in various areas in Geography to UF campus; visiting speaker will speak to students and faculty and possibly general public depending on person's field of experience; and 50% to support international travel for faculty and/or graduate students in Geography. awarded to students and faculty on an alternating schedule.

Robert L. Anderson established this lectureship in 2004 in honor of his brother, Glenn R. Anderson. The fund supports a lectureship to bring national leaders in various areas of Geography to the University of Florida campus for both private and public lectures.

Robert earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida in 1964. He retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1997 after 15 years and was the managing partner of the Real Estate Specialty Group. His brother, Glenn, received his bachelor’s degree in geography in 1962 and his law degree in 1965, both from UF.
