This fund was established by Morley and Violet Gren in 2004 for the purpose of supporting Parkinson’s Disease research in the College of Medicine’s Movement Disorders program.
Morley was born July 19, 1918 in Chicago, IL and served in the U.S. Army before leaving with the rank of a two-star general. He later worked at the University of Hawaii as a statistician. He and his wife, Violet, moved to Vero Beach, FL from Hawaii in 1998. Morley passed away on June 2, 2004 at the age of 85. Violet passed on November 11, 2008
