Betty C. Stevens Endowment
Create and support an academic reading room for faculty and students in the College of Health and Human Performance.
This fund was established in 2004 by Betty C. Stevens for the purpose of supporting the creation of an academic reading room for faculty and students in the College of Health and Human Performance.
Stevens earned her bachelor’s degree at Auburn University and her master’s and doctorial degrees from Syracuse University. She came to the University of Florida from Syracuse, where she was director of the graduate program in student personal administration. She served as UF’s Dean of Women from 1966 to 1969, retiring in 1976 as Associate Professor of Behavioral Studies. Betty was married to the late Billie K. Stevens.
