“Lee” Calvin Yeomans launched this scholarship in 1996 as a memorial to his mother, Vada Allen Yeomans. The wife of Lee C. Yeomans, Vada was a teacher, mother and foster parent, remembered mostly as a contributor to her community and a great businesswoman in a time when women were not seen in the corporate business world.
