Ella E. Muthard established this fund in 2001 in memory of her husband, John E. Muthard. Born in Reading, PA in 1917, John resided in Gainesville for 33 years before relocation to New Jersey. He worked for a number of years as a professor in rehabilitation counseling psychology at UF. A member of the American Psychological Association and the Association of Rehabilitation Counselors of America, John passed away in 2001. The couple’s two children, Jean and David, are also UF alumni. Both earned bachelor’s degrees in chemistry in the 1970
