Dr. Suzanne M. Wester, M.D. Scholarship

Suzanne M. Wester

William and Stephanie Wester, along with their son Jeff Wester, established this endowment in memory of their daughter and sister, Dr. Suzanne M. Wester, to support scholarships for deserving students in the College of Medicine.

Suzanne graduated from Wilkes University in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in biology for which she received Summa Cum Laude honors. She then attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, Suzanne completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In 1988, Suzanne founded Women’s Medical Specialties, Inc. She remained as senior partner until her life was tragically cut short in 1996.
