Dixie V. Bayer Nursing Excellence Fund

This fund was created in 2003 by Dixie V. Bayer. Bayer’s gift supports the hiring and retention of faculty and any academic programs for the College of Nursing.

Dixie was born in 1907 and passed away in 2007, shortly after celebrating her 100th birthday. She was a generous and long-time friend of the University.
