GA: support Steve Rhoden Scholarship to incoming freshmen; pref graduates of Miami Palmetto Sr HS (Miami, FL) & those who were on school soccer team; then students pursuing degree in architecture with consideration to students from the Caribbean including Jamaica.

Joseph and Michele Rhoden lost their beloved children, Krisia and Steve, in a tragic accident in 1993. Krisia received her bachelor’s degree from UF in 1992, and at the time of her death was a second year dental student at the College of Dentistry. Steve was a freshmen at UF at the time of the accident. The scholarship fund was created by the Rhodens, their friends and family in celebration of the lives of these two young people.
The Steve Rhoden Scholarship is a university-wide award for incoming freshman. The scholarship named for Krisia is awarded to students in the College of Dentistry.
