Ted Fearney Book Endowment in Architectural Studies
This fund was established in 2003 by Barbara Fearney, in loving memory of her husband, to support the Ted Fearney Professorship in the College of Design, Construction and Planning through the acquisition of research materials.
Ted Fearney was a professor of architecture and design at the University of Florida for 35 years. A graduate of Brown University, Fearney had a lifelong love of architecture and teaching. Ted and Barbara, were days away from celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary when he passed away on May 11, 2000. Barbara passed on November 21, 2006. One of their four children, Martha F. Pilcher, received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UF.
