He received the International Achievement Medal from the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity at its world meeting in Toronto, and was a retired professor emeritus of UF’s College of Dentistry. He held a dual appointment with the College of Medicine and served as chairman of the Department of Oral Medicine for 17 years. Harold had three children, Harold III, Christine and Cheryl. Harold III and Cheryl are both UF graduates.
Professor Stanley passed away November 10, 2001.
