Elizabeth S. Eaton Scholarship Fund
GA: support undergraduate scholarship awards or graduate fellowship awards to students attending UF College of Pharmacy.
Elizabeth Eaton established this fund in 1996. Eaton was born July 16, 1910 in Paducah, KY. She earned degrees from the University of Kentucky, the University of Illinois and the University of Chicago. During her career she was active in variety of associations including the American Chemical Society, Pi Mu Epsilon, Phi Beta, Beta Phi Mu, Research Society of America, Medical Library Association and Special Libraries Association. She was also active in the First Christian Church, Friends of the Library, Friends of Music, the P.E.O. Sisterhood and the social sorority, Kappa Delta.
Eaton retired from the UF Health Science Center Libraries as university librarian emeritus in 1975. She passed away on December 30, 2002 at the age of 9
