Barbara and Richard Anderson Scholarship
Barbara and Richard Anderson created this scholarship to assist advanced students in education. Barbara graduated from UF in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in education, and she and Richard earned their graduate degrees from Georgia State University. In 1994, Barbara was elected President of the American College Personnel Association, an organization of professional student affairs educators who share interests and values in the education and holistic development of students. She accepted the position of Dean of Admissions and Student Affairs for Lake City Community College in 2000. Richard has served as CFO and worked with the mayor for the city of Atlanta.
