Henry C. and Audrey S. Schumacher Fellowship Fund

Henry C. and Audrey S. Schumacher established this endowment in 2002. The couple moved to Gainesville where Henry Schumacher became the first child psychiatrist at the J. Hillis Miller Health Center. Audrey Schumacher, after teaching physical education at Gainesville High School for several years, went on to continue her education and established the Department of Psychological Services in the Health Services Center at the University of Florida. She was a professor emeritus in the Department of Psychology and continued to practice in her 80’s. Throughout her career, she was a professor to more than 80 doctoral student
