Ruth and Gerry Hartman established this scholarship in 2002 to benefit students in the Physician Assistant program at the University of Florida. Ruth earned her associate’s degree in Interior Design. Her husband, Gerry received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Duke University. The Hartman’s established this award in honor of their daughter, Alexandra L.
