This fund was established by Info Tech, Inc. in 2002 for the purpose of supporting an annual statistics winter workshop in the Department of Statistics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Info Tech is a market leader in transportation construction management software, statistical consulting and network services. Info Tech was founded in the 1970s by two University of Florida professors, James McClave and Thomas Rothrock.
