The human nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and senses, is the most complex organ system. Neuroscience research is critical. Exciting breakthroughs in neuroscience will be applied to the mission of curing debilitating neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s, epilepsy and multiple sclerosis. Private support is vital to advancing fundamental understanding of the nervous system – normal, injured or diseased.
