Francene Trainor
This endowment was created in 2002 with gifts from Donald and Joyce Trainor, in loving memory of their daughter, Francene Trainor. Classmates and friends of Francene, like Therese Micolucci, a 1976 UF College of Pharmacy graduate, also participated in founding the scholarship.
Francene was born August 8, 1954 and earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Florida in 1977. She worked at Orange Memorial Hospital from 1977 to 1985, Glaxo Pharmicial Company from 1985 to 1988, the State of Florida Medical Department from 1989 to 1994 and was a self-employed pharmacist from 1995 to 1999.
