Harry F. Goodmark Scholarship Fund
GA(Amend): Support need-based awards for students in 2nd or 3rd yr of law school w/demonstrated interest in (1) representing injured workers in workers compensation proceedings, (2) domestic violence issues, (3) children's rights issues; if no such student available, then 2nd or 3rd yr law student interested in labor or employment law on behalf of low income workers. Ruth Goodmark created this scholarship in 2001 to honor the memory of her husband, Harry F. Goodmark. A graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Law Class of 1935, Harry specialized in workers’ compensation law. His son, Jerry J. Goodmark continued in his father’s footsteps and earned his degree in 1968 from UF’s Law School. Father and son founded the law firm of Goodmark and Goodmark, P.A., which is known today as Goodmark, Goodmark and Goldstone, P.
