Muschlitz Endowment for Chemistry
Purchase materials for Chemistry collection.
This fund was established in honor of Earle E. Muschlitz, Jr., in 2001 for the purpose of supporting the purchase of materials for the chemistry collection in the science collection in the George A. Smathers Libraries.
Muschlitz was born April 23, 1921. He earned his bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees from Pennsylvania State University.
Muschlitz’s wife, Barbara, earned a bachelor’s degree from Penn State in 1947 and a master’s degree from Ohio State in 1948.
Earle and Barbara have two sons; Robert, who earned an associate’s degree in engineering science from UF in 1983 and Karl, who earned a bachelor’s degree in real estate and urban analysis in 1984 from UF.
