Jack S. McCandless Excellence Fund
This fund was established in 2001 by the estate of Jack S. McCandless to support the College of Design, Construction and Planning.
Jack S. McCandless was born on December 12, 1912 in Asheville, NC. He earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Florida in 1934. His wife, Betty, passed away on July 25, 1999 and Jack passed away on March 31, 2001.
