Latin Builders Association Scholarship for Ethical Development
GA (amended): support need-based scholarships to UF undergraduates; pref to those in real estate &/or finance &/or career related to building construction; & pref to dependents of active, paid members of the donor or children/dependents of its members or employees.
This scholarship was established in 2000 by the Latin Builders Association, Inc. The Latin Builders Association (LBA) is a non-profit corporation organized in 1971 by a small group of Latin sub-contractors to provide its members with representatives at all levels of the construction industry. LBA now has more than 700 members. They represent a cross section of builders, developers, general contractors, suppliers, sub-contractors, bankers, professionals and others in related service industries in Miami-Dade County. The organization provides need-based scholarships to undergraduate students at the University of Florida with preference to those studying real estate, finance and/or building construction and who are dependents of active, paid members of the Latin Builders Associatio
