Fund Purpose
GA (amended): support an annual visiting cancer research lecturer; this scholar will give a seminar on current cancer research that brings new knowledge to the UF medical community; if additional funds are available, they shall be used to support a cancer research or education project identified by the fund administrator, after consultation with the donor.

This fund was established in 2000 by the Ocala Royal Dames for Cancer Research for the purpose of supporting an annual visiting cancer research lecturer and cancer research or educational projects in the College of Medicine.
Founded in 1986 by Theresa Castro, the Royal Dames contribute substantially each year to the advancement of cancer research and education both locally and regionally.
