Rothman Family Endowment Fund
Robert C. and Margaret Rothman established this fund in 2000 to provide fellowships, term professorships and distinguished visiting lectures for the Department of Classics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
A successful businessman, Robert Rothman is chairman and CEO of Black Diamond Group, Inc. and part owner of the Washington Redskins professional football team.
Bob earned a master’s degree from the University of Chicago. He is chairman and CEO of Black Diamond Capital Partners LLC and former CEO of Consolidated International Group, Inc. Bob is also on the board of directors for Cbeyond Communications.
Bob and Peggy have four children, Michael, Christine, Carolyn and Kimberly. Carolyn is a UF graduate.
