Equal Access is a network of student-run free clinics in Gainesville, Florida. Our mission is to provide medical care and social services to those in need while enhancing the education of University of Florida students. We currently operate four weekly primary care clinics. Our subspecialty clinics provide physical therapy, basic gynecologic care, psychological treatment and counseling, and basic dental care. Clinic staff is made up of students and faculty from the University of Florida Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy, and the Departments of Physical Therapy and Clinical Psychology with a passion for serving the Gainesville community. Since it was founded in 1988, Equal Access has expanded into one of the nation’s largest student-run free clinic networks. Today, our clinics provide interdisciplinary healthcare services for over one thousand patients each year. For more information, please visit our website at http://equalaccess.med.ufl.edu/
