M.G. “Sanch” Sanchez created this endowment to honor his mother, Mercedes, who was a basketball player in school. She was born on May 5, 1903, and she passed away on January 24, 1997. Through the endowment, M.G. Sanchez hopes to provide financial support for student-athletes who otherwise might not have an opportunity to attend colleg
