GA: support partial merit scholarships for more than one student in College of Engineering at dean's discretion.
John and Marie Taina established this fund to provide scholarships for students in the College of Engineering. They remembered their financial hardships through college and hope to ease the financial burden of students within the college. Marie graduated from the Florida State College for Women, now Florida State University, in 1939. John received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from UF in 1939. He served in World War II as an officer in the Chemical Corps. After the war he entered the civil service of the federal governmen
