Caroline Annette Cody Memorial Scholarship Fund

Friends, family and colleagues created this fund in memory of Caroline A. Cody in 2000. At the time of her passing, Caroline was a first year medical student at the University of Florida. In 2003, she was awarded her medical degree posthumously by the UF College of Medicine; the first time that the College of Medicine awarded anyone posthumously.

Caroline received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Xavier University in New Orleans, LA. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and volunteered at Eastside High School teaching health issue
