Evelyn F. McKnight Cognitive Aging and Memory Research Fund

Evelyn McKnight
This fund was established in 1999 for the purpose of the medical research of the brain, principally for clinical application to accomplish the alleviation of memory loss caused by aging.
Evelyn F. McKnight and William L. McKnight, her late husband and past chairman of the board of the 3M Corporation, were interested in the effects of aging on memory. This interest inspired Mrs. McKnight to establish the Foundation as a legacy of support for research of the brain to alleviate the specific influence of age related memory loss. She continued to advocate for memory loss research until her death in October 1999.
