Estate: support scholarships for students selected by the Director of the Center for Greek Studies based on academic standing, financial need, completion or enrollment in at least one course in Hellenic language or civilization at UF.

Through their estate, Liberty and George Perry established this scholarship in 2000. The Perry’s were the first contributors to the University of Florida’s Center for Greek Studies.
George was an active member of the Greek Orthodox Church, the past president for his local American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) and worked for the US Postal Service. He passed away in 199
