Gerson Hall Excellence Support Fund

This fund was established by Gary R. and Niety Gerson in 2000 for the purpose of supporting academic programs in the Fisher School of Accounting in the Warrington College of Business.
Gary was born October 18, 1933. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1954 and a master’s degree in business administration in 1955 at the University of Florida. At 21, he became the youngest CPA in the U.S. Gary practiced public accounting in Miami with Gerson, Preston and Company, of which he was the founder and senior partner.
Gary and Niety have a distinguished history of dedication to the University of Florida and their community. Gerson Hall in the Fisher School of Accounting was named in his honor in 2004.
