Fredric G. and Marilyn Kapner Levin Fund
GA: support teaching, research and programs in College of Law at dean's discretion.
This fund was established in 1998 by Fredric G. and Marilyn Kapner Levin to support teaching, research and programs in the Levin College of Law.
Fredric earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in business administration in 1958 and graduated third in his class from the University of Florida College of Law in 1961.
Fredric met Marilyn Kapner in Gainesville and they married after his first year in law school. The couple has three daughters and a son: Marci, Debra, Kimberly, and Martin. All four of Levin’s children attended the University of Florida.
In recognition of Fredric G. Levin’s history of support and service to the university and the state of Florida, the college, which has graduated generations of Florida’s leaders in law, business, education and government, was named the Fredric G. Levin College of Law.
