Malcom Randall Fellowship in Health Care Administration
GA: support fellowship awards to students studying hospital administration in Public Health and Health Professions.
Malcom Randall and Christine S. Randall established this endowed fellowship to encourage students to pursue careers in hospital administration.
Christine Randall holds a bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree from UF’s College of Education. She was employed by the College of Education from 1991-96.
Malcom Randall came to Gainesville as the first director of the Veterans Administration Medical Center in 1966. He served as director for 32 years, retiring in 1998. Randall has been honored twice by UF for his involvement within the university and community. He was recognized as an honorary alumnus in 1980 and then was awarded an honorary degree in 1996. Randall served on the Health Professions Steering Committee for the “It’s Performance That Counts” capital campaign and was an active member of the Health Professions Advisory Board and the UF Administrative Council.
