Delores and Allen Lastinger

This fund was established in 1998 for the purpose of supporting the Lastinger Center for Learning in the College of Education.

Allen Lastinger graduated from P.K. Yonge Laboratory School in 1960 and earned his bachelor’s degree in 1965 and his master’s degree in 1971 in business administration from the University of Florida. Delores Lastinger earned her bachelor’s degree in education from UF in 1965.

The Lastingers are deeply committed to education as evidenced by the large number of teachers that exist within their family and through their creation of the Lastinger Center for Learning in the College of Education.
