Harvard Jolly Architects Scholarship Fund
GA: support scholarships to students in School of Architecture.
In 1999, Harvard Jolly Clees Toppe Architects (now Harvard Jolly Inc.) created the first and largest endowed scholarship fund to date given by an architectural firm to the School of Architecture at the University of Florida. In 2000, a 50 percent match was provided from the State Legislature.
Founded in 1938, Harvard Jolly is one of Florida’s oldest and largest architecture firms. Harvard Jolly has six offices throughout Florida in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Fort Myers, Orlando, Panama City and Fort Lauderdale. They serve clients throughout the Southeast U.S. and specialize in healthcare, educational, library, museum and governmental facilities. The principals and most of the architectural staff are graduates of the University of Florida.
The University of Florida provided the principals of our firm with the tools that are needed to reach the standard of excellence to which the firm is committed. It has always been a tradition at Harvard Jolly to give back to the community that has provided such great opportunity for us. It gives us a sense of satisfaction and pride to have the ability to assist in the preparation of the next generation of architects, said Bill Harvard, AIA, NCARB, president of Harvard Joll
