Melvin and Lorna Rubin Fund

This fund was established in 1997 to support the acquisition of photography for the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art’s collections.
Melvin Rubin is a professor and Chairman Emeritus, UF Department of Ophthalmology and a University of Florida Eminent Scholar Emeritus.
Lorna earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and is president and director of Triad Communications, Inc. publishing company, which was founded in 1971.
The couple has three children, Gabrielle, Danny, and Michael.
