Fund Purpose
GA: merit-based scholarship award to undergraduate or graduate student distinguishing himself or herself in his/her field of study within the discipline of Civil and Coastal Engineering; preference to any student currently holding a part-time or full-time job outside or within UF.

Originally established to support the purchase of books in the Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering, this endowment was renamed the Charles and Mary Pitts Scholarship in 2006. The fund supports merit-based scholarships for undergraduate or graduate students distinguishing themselves in their field of study within the discipline of civil and coastal engineering. Preference is given to any student who also holds a part-time or full-time job outside or within the University of Florid
