Robert H. Moore, Jr. Memorial Football Endowment

Robert H. Moore

This football endowment was created in 1994 by Publix Super Markets Charities to honor Robert H. (Bobby) Moore, Jr. the son of Publix Division Vice President Bob Moore. Bobby Moore was a huge Gator fan, and proudly wore his Gator colors even while living in Tallahassee and working out on the FSU campus. His own sport of choice was baseball, and he followed his families tradition of becoming an associate(employee) of Publix Super Markets. Tragically, he passed away at the age of 27 in a boating accident. Bobby’s parents, Sue and Robert Moore of Hawthorne, Fl., have made gifts to further enhance this memorial scholarship.
