This scholarship was established in 1997 by James “Jim” E. Dykes and his wife, Yvonne. Jim Dykes has been long associated with UF, having earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1962. Dykes was the founding chairman of UF’s Engineering Advisory Council.
